The marquee in the video

I've had some people say that they could not see the marquee in the video, so I have uploaded a picture of it from the clearest part of the video.

It actually looks like the same style as the old Polybius picture to me.

It doesn't much matter to me anymore, I will probably have someone come pick it up next week. I will then start to focus this blog on other games (that people know about!)

Gotten some emails about "Polybius"

I got some emails from some people who are interested in buying the cabinet from me. They are also interested in the VHS tape, and have offered good money for it, so I think I might be selling it.

This is all such a mystery to me still, and it is stressful in a way. I would like to get back to buying arcade machines that I actually care about, and I should be able to after selling this cabinet.

Polybius?

Shortly after uploading that video to YouTube, I did a little research and found that it could be about an urban legend game named Polybius. Apparently this game was said to cause seizures and amnesia, and the video does mention effects like this.

I don't ever remember playing such a game, but I am going to have to look further into this.

Can anyone please explain what this is from?

It's been a weird couple of weeks

Someone stole my computer shortly after my last blog post, so I wasn't able to make any until now. I don't know why someone stole my computer, it wasn't a new one or anything.

I've also gotten more strange emails about the video. I even got a phone call about it, and I don't know how anybody got my phone number.

I am going to post the video tomorrow. I have a friend transferring it from VHS to digital. I only hope that someone can help explain this mystery machine more. I'm pretty sure it ends in "IUS" but I honestly have no memory of a game like that.

Once the video is up, maybe someone who has read this can help me out.
